How this list works
Two ways to price a Philadelphia job, and you choose.
Per item. Find your things below, add them up, that is your total. Good for anything you can count.
By truck volume. Pick a rung on the ladder. Good for a basement, an attic or a whole floor where counting is pointless.
The per-visit minimum is $75. There is no stair fee, no walk-up fee, no same-day fee, no narrow-street fee and no charge for the fact that there is nowhere to park a truck on your block — which in a city with almost no driveways is the surcharge everyone is bracing for.
Truck volume ladder
| 1/4 truck | $241 |
| 3/8 truck | $338 |
| 1/2 truck | $431 |
| 5/8 truck | $513 |
| 3/4 truck | $587 |
| 7/8 truck | $661 |
| Full truck | $732 |
A Philadelphia rule of thumb: one floor of a standard two-bedroom row home, cleared of furniture, usually lands between the half and the three-quarter rung. A whole four-level house — basement, two floors and an attic — is commonly two or three full loads.

Frequently asked questions
Are these prices the same across Philadelphia?
Yes. Identical in Chestnut Hill, Cobbs Creek, Mayfair, Fishtown, South Philly and everywhere between. Nothing is priced by neighborhood.
Is there a minimum charge?
$75 per visit. Small single items like a microwave at $30 or a bag of clothes at $35 fall under it, so it is worth batching them with something else.
Do stairs, walk-ups or basements cost extra?
No. There is no stair, walk-up, basement or hatchway charge. A sofa off a third-floor West Philly walk-up is the same $126 as one on the pavement.
When should I use the truck ladder instead of the item list?
Once your list runs past about eight items. A quarter truck is $241, a half is $431, three quarters is $587 and a full load is $732.
Is disposal included?
Yes. Every price on this page includes hauling and disposal. There is no separate gate fee, environmental fee or refrigerant charge added afterwards.
